I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Houston working with my mentor Hugh Roy and Lillie Cranz Cullen Distinguished University Professor Pradeep Sharma. Before that, I was a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Utah, where I worked with Distinguished Professor Graeme W. Milton on space-time metamaterials, and multiphase (elastic and electromagnetic) metamaterials, along with teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics.
I obtained my PhD in Computational Mechanics in December, 2021 from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. During my PhD, I was advised by Professor Kaushik Dayal. Prior to my PhD, I received my master's degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in Mechanical engineering under the guidance of Professor C. S. Jog. I completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical engineering from Walchand College of Engineering in India.
Apart from research, I enjoy running, hiking, and baking.
Please do check out the fun research I do, and shoot me an email if you're interested in my work!
